When I was a little boy I remember my grandfather telling stories of all the good times he had and the giant fish he caught deep sea fishing on charter with his buddy Danny.   

As kid I have fond memories of the charters  my father took me on.   When I became an an adult I continued this tradition organizing and booking charters with my father and friends.   

Once I became a father myself I could not wait to share this experience with my own daughter. I enjoy the time we spend together on the water and found great joy in watching her catch her first striper.

4th Alarm Charters is all about enjoying time on the water with friends, family and making memories that will last a lifetime.   The excitement on a person's face as they reel in their first striper or a new personal best never gets old.      

Every trip out on the ocean offers a new day, a new adventure,  and new memories. and no two trips are the same.    You never know what your going to see, encounter or catch on the big water.    One thing for sure, its always a good time.   

4th Alarm Charters stated as a dream many years ago.   I have owned boats all my life and have spent thousands of hours on the water.   I have fished up and town the east and west coast with some of the best Captains in the charter industry with the dream of someday owning my own fishing charter.    

The name "4th Alarm Charters" comes from spending over 30 years in the fire service.   A second generation Firefighter following in my Dads foot steps progressing through the ranks to Fire Chief.   The slogan "hose lines to tight lines" says it all.    The two best careers a man could ever want.   Fighting fires and fighting fish!   

A 4th alarm fire is a big hot fire, fast paced with lots of hose lines and action.   Fishing on 4th Alarm charters is similar with lots of excitement,  big fish, hot fishing, fast paced with lots of fishing lines. 

The name of the boat is "Knot on Call".   Careers in the fire service  frequently require you to be on-call or on standby and ready to respond if needed.   This means you must stay in the area and available and not out on the ocean fishing.   When we are out fishing we are knot on call...
